Duffy Hero Assembly

Today we had our Duffy Hero Assembly with our guest being New Zealand TV Presenter, actress and producer 'Jo Holley'. She was great at explaining the importance of being able to read in her work. 

One child from every class was presented with an award by Jo. Ezra got an award in our class for putting lots of effort into his work.

Clendon's Got Talent Show

Yesterday we had Clendon's Got Talent. It was fantastic to see so many of our school's students giving it their best in front of everyone. What a bunch of talent we have here and soooo confident too! Here are some pictures:

Netball

Over the last week or so we have been participating in an inter-class Netball competition. We didn't really know how to play at first (except for Sarah and Bailee) but boy we gave it a go! We ended up losing 1, tying 1 and winning 1 game, so not a bad effort.

Jump Rope for Heart

On Friday afternoon we had Jump Rope for Heart, which is all about raising money for the Heart Foundation, while having some fun too! We had been practising skipping a lot so we finally got to show off all our new skills. Here are just a few photos: Jump Rope for heart on PhotoPeach

We Can Dance!

Last Friday our class decided to have an impromptu freestyle dance competition. As you can see our kids have skills! We had lots of fun and even got up a sweat! Enjoy!
